    Jane Walsh has been a Speech Pathologist for longer than she would like to admit, graduating from the University of Queensland back in the days when assignments were still done on typewriters. Yes, vintage like good wine!

    Throughout her career she has worked across the life span in a variety of services in Australia and Canada and brings a wealth of experience to her role. She has a special interest in working with adults with acquired language disorders as a result of stroke or other neurological conditions. If you have a progressive neurological disorder, you will not find a more practical and sincere therapist to support you on your journey with both speech and swallowing issues. Additional areas of expertise include voice, fluency and accent modification. She is also trained in the Speak Out Treatment Program for people with Parkinson’s Disease.

    Jane is committed to person-centred care and enjoys working in the community sector. She strives to meet the client’s needs and work toward functional goals while having as much fun as possible. Jane is excited to work at Live Right where there is a multi-disciplinary team who can provide holistic care for each individual.

    Jane has three beautiful children who have all left the nest and now dotes on her new dog baby, Leo. Jane belongs to a local Acapella choir in her spare time and as a singer herself is equipped to treat professional voice users.
